After the publication of this article, the Gainesville Bromeliad Society has corrected the Hydrogen Peroxide formula shown on page 277 as follows: Use one tablespoon of 3% pharmaceutical grade (for example, CVS or Walgreens) Hydrogen Peroxide per gallon of water (see http://www.gainesvillebromeliadsociety.org/Partners.html for additional information).

The Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies (FCBS) has created a page titled Bromeliads Are Safe with additional information which can be found at http://bromeliadsaresafe.com.
