Archival Journals

As an ongoing project, the older issues of the BSI Journal are being scanned and passed through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to convert the scans to text. The images and text from the Journals are then recombined and reformatted into webpages.

This is a slow and labor-intensive process and will take some time before all 300+ Journals have been converted to an online readable form. A number of the early years have already been completed and are available for viewing. The number of converted Journals will increase over time so check back in from time to time.

Current Journal Stats: 216 Journals, 3128 Articles, 30142 Unique Search Terms

Additionally, there is a search engine that may be used to find articles in the online Journals containing user supplied keywords. Simply type your search terms into the white box at the top of the page and click the Journal Search button. Additional information on using the search engine can be found by clicking on the Search Tips and Advanced Search links.

In order to provide this service as a benefit to BSI members while preventing it from being accessible to the general public, the link to the Archival Journal index is secured with a password.

NOTE: If you are a current member of the BSI you can find the username and password for accessing the Members-Only section printed inside the back cover (at the bottom of the page) starting with the 2009 Journals.
