| Feb 21 | MEETING | We saw his garden last November and now we get Dr Jeffrey Block to come back to share some secrets. Get your questions ready. What to do this time of year; what should be fertilized what should not; what should be blooming and if not I should be doing something besides trying to grow bromeliads. |
| Feb 23 | EVENT | Come to the meeting or call one of the officers to find out what is on the ramble agenda. What I do know is that there will be four stops in Fort Lauderdale. What does this mean? Four eating stops or four gardens? You never know with this group. |
| Mar 21 | MEETING | It's Mr. Plant Guy himself, Craig Morell. What to do; what not to do? Do I feed it or starve it? Can a bromeliad be an underwater plant? Hmmm? Well bring your questions and if you dare your specimens. All will be revealed. |
| Apr 13 & 14 | EVENT | "On your own" event: the Bromeliad of South Florida is having their annual show and sale at Fairchild Tropical Garden from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Many of the more experienced and large bromeliad growers are in the South Florida society and they always put up a spectacular show. Seeing the winners' table is worth the trip. |
| Apr 18 | MEETING | Our perennial favorite Dr Terri Bert will be our speaker working on another set of alphabet bromeliads. Her talks are always informative and interesting, and she always bring some excellent plants. This is another one where you want to show up early. Perhaps even volunteer to open the doors so you're the very first one in line to look at all those perfect specimens. |
| Apr 27 & 28 | EVENT | Mounts Spring Sale! Get your plants ready for sale; start preparations early |
| Jun 8 | EVENT | Please note this event is TWO Saturdays BEFORE our normally scheduled Saturday rambles. Due to Paul's hectic travel schedule this is the only time he has available to show us his fabulous garden. Some of you who've been here knows the garden has lots and lots of palms, a unique pond, and lots of bromeliads as well as other plants. Although definitely a palm collector Paul Humann has a variety of tastes in plants. He has a great collection of crotons too. |
| Nov 2 & 3 | EVENT | Mounts Fall Sale! Sure to be a good time |
| Dec 1 | HOLIDAY PARTY | This is the earliest we've ever held our event. "Plant" to be there. [ok I get to create this so I get to pun this.] |

Show & TellHave an interesting plant that's blooming? ... or doing something odd? ... or you just don't know what's going on with it? Bring it in and show the members your plants. Someone should have an answer to your questions. If you just want some bragging rights to an excellently cultivated specimen, by all means bring it in for Show and Tell. |
