Meeting
Meeting: Wednesday, 26 August at 7:30 pm in the Rotunda Room at the
Veterans Memorial Hall.
Speaker: Alan Levy and Don Misumi will give an informative talk and
demo on different bromeliad genera. This will be very interesting for
all levels of bromeliad growers, but expecially those of you who are
new to LBVBS.
Raffle: Don Misumi will supply the Raffle Table with bromeliads and
orchids.
Drinks: Jim Jaeger and Jean Yoshii
Food: Jan Brown, Larry Ebner, and Ray Van Veen

Member news
Dutch Vandervort, a long time LBVBS member, grower, speaker, traveler,
and boat repair (electrical) guy, has bought a new house in San
Miguel, Mexico...not New Mexico...old Mexico. He says that this is
about a 3 hour drive from Mexico City. He should already be there and
moved in as of this writing.
