Meeting Time/Place
The Saddleback Valley Bromeliad Society meets the first Thursday of each month.The next meeting will be on SEPTEMBER 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm.
Meeting is held at the Norman Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, California USA.
OUR FEATURED PROGRAM: Pam Koide-Hyatt on The Tillandsia of Western Mexico, a cool plant raffle with some plants from Pam, a leading library, supplies you need, goodies by Mary Kermani, Lou Green leaf, and Todd Pierson. "This is quite possibly the most beautiful botanic garden in the world. This square mile of tropical Thai landscape has 600 plus employees, elephanants, and tigers, not to mention a full size model of Stonehenge. They have greatly expanded their bromeliad collection which will be a large part of this update."
PLANT TABLE
The plant table of beauties will be donated by PAM, and in addition, plants from Lorraine Ferguson's wonderful collection.
SHOW AND TELL
Bring a plant and receive a FREE raffle ticket. Bring your bloomers, show stoppers, crafty container creations,interesting plants, even disasters. Helps all of us learn and enjoy!
PLANT AUCTION
Bring a plant for the auction --- there is at least one in your garden you can part with to show off and watch everyone bid for your special plant. REFRESHMENTS
Provided by Marky Kermani, Lou Green leaf, and Todd Pierson, plus Linda Hall and Lainane Leong's special touches and treats.

DUES:
Only $15.00 per person or family per year which gives you a year of meetings, newsletters, shared information, library access, and wonderful raffle tables.
Send them to our membership committee head Lou Greenleaf --- if you forget we will keep reminding you --- or bring a check to the meeting. (see newsletter for address to mail check).
