Large mature rosette to over 1 metre diameter. Silvery blue/green arching or weeping leaves with distinctive white crossbands , moreso on the reverse, particularly in juvenile phase. Heavily-scurfed---indument can "dust" the ground as plant matures. Wild-collected in Brazil and introduced into U.S. horticulture via Chester Skotak.
