Mature, open large rosette to over 1 metre diameter. In juvenile growth, arching, narrow (3cm. wide) outspreading bronze green spiny leaves, overlaid coppery pink, tapering to sharp points. Near blooming, inner leaves turn flaming red with an inner ring of frosted white leaf axils. The semi-raised, compound inflorescence has frosted white floral bracts, white indument and a crown of dark purple flowers. Offsets are connected to the parent plant by short flat, thin stolons. Reg.
