Mature, open rosette to 40cm. diameter. Rigid, slightly recurving leaves each to 20cm. long, tapering to point at tip. Brown / silver cross-banded foliage with dense silver scurf on obverse and reverse. Erect scape to 60cm. high with inflorescence resembling O. gurkenii -- red floral bracts and white flowers.
