Mature large, upright rosette to 50cm. diameter x 70cm. high. Broad, grey-green leaves densely scurfed with pale silver cross-banding. Black, retrorse spines and a purple cast to foliage in strong light. Erect, mealy, pink-stemmed, branched inflorescence to 90cm. tall with frosted green, cone-like clusters and golden yellow flowers.
