Mature, upright, outspreading, large rosette to 80cm. diameter x 80cm. high. Black-spined, heavily scurfed, sepia purple / dark maroon arching leaves with the lower foliage drooping. Erect / leaning pink-bracted, mealy-stemmed spike with open light branching (each to 8cm. long) with woolly green pointed bracts and lavender petals margined white.
