Mature, upright, open rosette to 80cm. diameter x 86cm. high. Black-spined, stiff, frosted maroon leaves with faint cross-banding on the reverse. Lower, outer leaves are inclined to droop. Arching, pink woolly-stemmed inflorescence to 80cm. long with coral red scape bracts, branched woolly green floral bracts tinged pink, green sepals and lilac flowers.
