                    Culver City Garden Club Show

Save the Planet!  Reduce Global Warming!  Grow Plants!  Start a
Garden!

The Culver City Garden Club, a non-profit founded in 1953, will hold
its 55th Annual Show & Plant Sale on Saturday, June 28, 12 - 4 PM, and
Sunday, June 29, 10 AM - 4 PM, in the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium,
4117 Overland Ave. (@ Culver Blvd.), in Culver City.

There will be a professionally-judged exhibition of homegrown plants,
flowers and vegetables; a Club plant sale table; regular raffles of
merchandise and gift certificates donated by local merchants; and
vendors selling gardening supplies and plants.

Admission is free and there is lots of free parking.

                           June Meeting

Meeting: Wednesday, 25 June at 7:30 pm in the Rotunda Room at the
Veterans Memorial Hall.

Speaker: Tim Nomer will speak about his favorite tropical plants from
various botanical gardens.

Raffle: Alan Levy will supply plants for the raffle table.  Thank you,

The La Ballona Valley Bromeliad Society meets the fourth Wednesday of
each month, January through October, in the Rotunda Room at Veterans
Memorial Hall, 4117 Overland Avenue, Culver City.
