Mature, upright rosette to 60cm. diameter x 1 metre high. In strong light, arching, narrowly-triangular bronze red leaves with darker red striations. A pygmy pineapple, inedible, semi ovoid-shaped pink "fruit" to 10cm.long with lavender flowers, on a mealy-white stem. Viviparous top-knot crown pup shows variegation. Collected by Queensland grower Bruce Dunstan as it was being discarded by the breeder Qld Gov't trial research station. Reg. Doc. 10/2017 by Michael Pascall.
