Mature, open, large rosette to 70cm. diameter x 70cm. high. Scurfed, black-spined, bronze green leaves (drooping lower foliage) with pale, silver cross-banding on the reverse. Long, leaning / decurved, mealy pink-stemmed inflorescence with rosy red bracts and branched, frosty green, woolly fascicles with lilac flowers.
