Mature funnel-form rosette to 40cms tall. Grey-green foliage flecked and flushed purple in strong light. Erect, clustered inflorescence of yellow floral bracts and cream petals. Originally registered as x Hohenelia 'Nifty Nev'. However, this reclassification to x Quesmea became necessary because the seed parent Hohenbergia disjuncta became Aechmea disjuncta in 2007.
