The 2018 World Bromeliad Conference Optional Bus Tour Excursion has been announced. Don’t wait to register, as space is limited.
A fun part of the World Bromeliad Conference in San Diego will be an afternoon and evening bus excursion! We board luxury buses Thursday, May 31st after lunch. Then we’re off to North San Diego County to see two fantastic member gardens that are conveniently next door to one another. Next, we head south for a visit to the San Diego Botanic Gardens where we’ll tour the grounds and have an informal Mexican dinner together.
Please visit the Conference Corner tabs on the BSI website, bsi.org to keep abreast of what’s happening.
OPTIONAL Bus Excursion and INCLUDED home tours both require walking about two city blocks with an incline. We will have a car there to transport those who cannot walk there but none are wheelchair accessible; they are mostly accessible with walker or cane.
As with any tour and getting on and off bus, please wear good, sturdy walking shoes.
Bring a sweater and/or jacket; it is always cool in the evening here.
The Optional Bus Excursion is available to all attendees and their guests for $80 per person—internet payments must be paid through PayPal only—no checks will be accepted by mail after this date. Payment may be made by check or cash (for the higher fee) at the conference on May 29-30, 2018. BE AWARE THAT ALL PAYMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABLE SPACE. If over-sold, refunds will be made.
Cost per person: $80.00.
